Inside This River: Somatic and Art Therapies is a private practice in Northcote, Victoria. Our therapeutic space has been created to promote an experience of spaciousness and connection with nature. We hope that people feel welcomed and able to sense their natural healing impulse.

This space is shared by a collection of practitioners. We hold common values around compassion, collaboration, safety and building enriching relationships with Self and others. Practitioners offer individual counselling, couple’s counselling, somatic psychotherapy, sensorimotor art therapy and clinical psychology. Bookings are made directly with individual practitioners.

New practitioners are warmly invited to join the team. Rooms can be adapted for both psychotherapy, art-based therapies and body workers (massage therapists, reiki practitioners, yoga therapists).

Inside this river there is a moon
which is not a reflection.

From the river bottom the moon speaks.
I travel in continuous conversation
with the river as it goes.

Whatever is above
and seemingly outside the river
is actually in it.

Merge with it, in here or out there,
as you please.

This is the river of rivers
and the beautiful silence of endless talking.
